Q: What is sauerkraut made from and how do you make it.

A: Our sauerkraut is made from organic cabbage and Celtic sea salt. The cabbage is shredded and salt is added. It is then packed tightly into a Stoneware sauerkraut crock and aged for 6 weeks. Sorry, we don't give out our recipes or give technical advice about making Sauerkraut. I recommend reading "wild Fermentation" by Sandor Katz. This excellent book tells you everything you ever wanted to know about fermented vegetables and how they are made. Wikkipedia also gives a brief description and facts about sauerkraut.

Q: Do you use preservatives or chemicals

A: No, We are a certified organic farm and we are not allowed to use any additives of any kind.

Q: How is you sauerkraut shipped

A: Our sauerkraut is packed in 1 lb vacuum sealed Food Grade plastic bags and shipped via USPS priority mail.

Q: I saw your product in a store and it is packed in glass, can I get my products shipped in glass?

A: Yes, please contact clymarllc@verizon.net or call 856-779-1269 directly for a shipping quote to your area.

Q: If the product is not heat canned, won't it go bad during shipping?

A: No, the products are aged at room temperature and are only refrigerated to halt the fermentation process. A few days shipping will not harm the products as they are naturally preserved through the fermentation process. We recommend refrigerating the product when you receive it to preserve color taste and texture.

Q: My local health food store does not carry your products, how can I get my store to carry them.

A: Contact your store's manager and tell him you would like to see our products in their store. Chances are, most health food stores are already getting products from one of the above distributors or have availability through a broker.

Q: I am interested in becoming a broker / whole sale distributor of your products, can I buy whole sale direct?

Q: I see that you use PayPal. I do not have a paypal account, can I still use my credit card?

A:Yes, Paypal can process credit cards even if you don't have a PayPal account, you can call John at 856-779-1269 and an invoice will be shipped to you from PayPal via email so you can process your order.
